H. Emily Jang, Ph.D.

Senior Scientist

I obtained my Ph.D. in Nutrition Science from Tufts University studying nutritional epigenetics using various folate‐ and methyl‐sources deficient models in carcinogenesis in vivo and in vitro. Then, I joined Boston University, followed by Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, for postdoctoral fellowships in endocrinology. I studied the impacts of environmental exposures during early developmental periods, to include sex steroids and nutrition status, and how they can permanently change the physiological process (i.e., neonatal programming).

As a Senior Scientist, I apply my in-depth expertise designing and conducting nutrition research in my collaboration and consultation with our clients to achieve their research objectives. I also monitor the progression of scientific innovations in nutrition, food science, and biomedical research to share the most relevant studies with researchers and to inform and shape their study design for improved outcomes. I carefully listen to my clients to provide the optimal and pertinent assistance for their study.
